Intense activity in the port of Cádiz started last Monday, November 29, which lasted until Wednesday, December 1. During this time, Lamaignere Shipping was responsible for dispatching a major US Navy vessel and providing it with provisioning and assistance services at all times.
For us, attention to military vessels represents one of our main activities, and we can prudently boast of this niche market. We have the knowledge, experience, and the ability to adapt to the needs of such customers who, in general, are very demanding.

read moreLast Tuesday, November 23, representatives of Lamaignere Shipping attended the productive and thought-provoking conference ‘The future of large yachts in the Bay of Cádiz: Business opportunities from multiple perspectives’. Organized by the Port of Cadiz, the Conference was chaired by businessman Rafael Fernández, in collaboration with the port of the Bay of Cádiz, Sucruise Andalucía, the Cádiz City Council, and the Institute for Development and Employment (IFEF).
This event presented the perfect opportunity to establish new bases and business opportunities to increase megayachts’ arrivals to the city of Cádiz. Increased traffic into this area will have positive effects and benefits, not only on the city’s economy but on the region of Andalusia in general.

Andalusia, and more specifically Cadiz, was honored to be designated as the location for the SailGP´s second season´s final European race. The event took place on Saturday October 9th and Sunday October 10th and it was indeed spectacular.
Lamaignere Shipping was the shipping agent that was responsible for the ship´tenders at the competition. The main role of these boats was to move spectators closer to the race´s front line for a better view of the action.

The first week of September is beginning with great news for the cruise ship traffic in Andalusia. For starters, last Saturday September 4, the ‘Belle de Cadix‘ of the Croisierupe company, which is based in the Port of Seville, made its first stopover in Seville and which will later make stops in the Ports of Huelva and Cádiz before returning to Seville again on Tuesday, September 7. Also, next Wednesday September 8, we will be receiving at the Seville port the megayacht ‘Kaos’, a luxury boat of 110 meters in length, valued at almost 300 million euros.
At Lamaignere Shipping we believe that these activities will serve as a great boosters for the high-end cruise and megayacht sector in Andalusia and will gradually help us reach pre-pandemic levels.
