On February 3-5, the flagship Giuseppe Garibaldi one of the most iconics italian Navy Ship, stopped in the port of Rota. Lamaignere Shipping coordinated the operation in port.

This ship, is one of the three amphibious assault ships maded by Fincantieri between 1985 and 1993. These ships can carry a battalion of troops, and up to 36 armored vehicles. The stern floodable dock can accommodate three landing craft.

Specifically, we have attended to their ships with specialized logistics such as dry docking, ship maintenance, spare parts service and any requirement that the captain and crew need. We have also carried out Ro-Ro operations and lashing of oversized equipment using cranes and lifting supports.
In this sense, the management of Lamaignere explains that meeting the particular demands of naval and military vessels when carrying out any technical management in port “requires experience and having a true team of professionals, and this specialized approach guarantees Compliance with rigorous protocols and satisfaction of the most demanding clients in terms of safety and operational efficiency is, without a doubt, a differentiating aspect that we offer to our clients.”
