Andalusia has firmly positioned itself as an international benchmark in nautical and cruise tourism, following the presentation of its 2025 Action Plan at FITUR, the leading global tourism fair. This comprehensive strategy focuses on innovation, sustainability, and international collaboration, placing Andalusian ports at the heart of the Mediterranean and Atlantic maritime routes.
Three key initiatives were unveiled at the Andalusia Pavilion:
The International Congress on Cruise and Nautical Tourism (CITCA) will take place from October 15 to 17 in Motril and Granada, bringing together port authorities, shipping agents, tourism operators, and industry leaders. From a Fam Trip through the Costa Tropical to high-level workshops and business panels, CITCA 2025 is expected to drive new collaborations and opportunities across the nautical tourism sector.
This renewed focus on cruise and nautical tourism not only boosts regional tourism but also strengthens the local economy, fosters international partnerships, and promotes innovation among small and medium enterprises. Companies like Lamaignere Shipping, a leading ship and yacht agent operating in key Andalusian ports, play an essential role in facilitating these maritime experiences with tailored services and deep industry knowledge.
With operations in Seville, Cádiz, Málaga, and Huelva, Lamaignere Shipping supports cruise lines, yacht owners, and logistics operators with end-to-end port services — all designed to make each call efficient, sustainable, and memorable.
Another highlight of the event was the release of the OBSERTUR 2024 report, which analyzes the emotions, decisions, and behavior of cruise passengers throughout their visit. This data is invaluable for improving service design and guiding strategic decisions for shipping companies, tourism boards, and port agents like Lamaignere Shipping, helping to elevate Andalusia’s competitiveness in the global tourism market.
Why Choose Andalusia?
As nautical tourism in Andalusia continues to grow, Lamaignere Shipping stands out as a trusted partner for cruise lines, yacht charters, and maritime operators.
