The great cruise ship Azamara has been present for several days in the city of Seville. A cruise that is luxurious and that is not the first time that this awesome cruise visits the capital of Andalusia.
Undoubtedly, the Port of Seville is a good enclave for stopovers for high-end cruise ships, both on Atlantic and Mediterranean itineraries.
This trend of entry of cruise ships will increase in this month of November and before 2023, a specific period for which a dozen large vessels are already scheduled to call in the city.
From April 29th until May 1st, Lamaginere Shipping provided agency services to the famed La Belle des Oceans cruise ship in Barcelona. The cruise ship’s first call was at the city of Condal, where it fuelled and stocked on provisions. Subsequently, it made calls at various ports of the Baleares islands, more specifically at Ibiza, Palma, and Mahón.
For us at Lamaignere Shipping, it was a pleasure to act as an agent and provide cruise ship services to one of the most celebrated vessels in this sector. Below, we share some of the best images of this operation.
We, at Lamaignere Shipping, would like to echo that from the he beginning of March there are expected 40 cruise ships in Seville till November.

Lamaignere Shipping initiated collaboration with the port of Seville to increase the visits of mega yachts and cruises at the port by the reinitiation of the Belle de Cadix trips and welcoming the arrival of the Kaos megayacht.
The first week of September is beginning with great news for the cruise ship traffic in Andalusia. For starters, last Saturday September 4, the ‘Belle de Cadix‘ of the Croisierupe company, which is based in the Port of Seville, made its first stopover in Seville and which will later make stops in the Ports of Huelva and Cádiz before returning to Seville again on Tuesday, September 7. Also, next Wednesday September 8, we will be receiving at the Seville port the megayacht ‘Kaos’, a luxury boat of 110 meters in length, valued at almost 300 million euros.
At Lamaignere Shipping we believe that these activities will serve as a great boosters for the high-end cruise and megayacht sector in Andalusia and will gradually help us reach pre-pandemic levels.
We also would like to thank the Diario de Huelva for mentioning Lamaignere Shipping as the consignees with regards to this news, and the Port of Huelva for their enthusiasm and collaboration on this project.
September 6th was a day of celabration for the Huelva Port Authority, as well as for our company, Lamaignere Shipping.
On this day, Spain received its first cruise ship since the start of the state of the alarm. “La Belle de Cadix“, a ship belonging the company CroisiEurope, docked at the Port of Huelva at approximately 9:00 am. Lamaignere Shipping was the shipping agent that took care of all operations of this vessel.
To celebrate the moment, the Huelva port authority presented the ship´s captain with a commemorative plaque. Undoubtly the news gave the sector, both a boost to its morale and a renewed sense of optimism.
