The company has extended its presence and expertise to the military field, providing services to more than 70 military vessels during 2023.
The division of the Lamaignere group focused on ship consignment and port services, Lamaignere Shipping, has increased its activity in 2023. Specifically, it has doubled the number of calls served compared to the previous year. This is due "to the business development itself and, very especially, to the fact that Lamaignere Shipping clients are recurrent in the consumption of our services every time, very focused on Andalusia", the operator has highlighted.
On the other hand, the company has extended its presence and expertise to the military field, providing services to more than 70 military vessels during 2023. “This achievement highlights Lamaignere Shipping's ability to adapt to the specific and rigorous demands of the military sector, offering solutions comprehensive and complying with the highest standards of safety and efficiency,” we emphasize. Specifically, we have attended to their ships with specialized logistics such as dry docking, ship maintenance, spare parts service and any requirement that the captain and crew need. We have also carried out Ro-Ro operations and lashing of oversized equipment using cranes and lifting supports.
In this sense, the management of Lamaignere explains that meeting the particular demands of naval and military vessels when carrying out any technical management in port “requires experience and having a true team of professionals, and this specialized approach guarantees Compliance with rigorous protocols and satisfaction of the most demanding clients in terms of safety and operational efficiency is, without a doubt, a differentiating aspect that we offer to our clients.”
In addition, we have stated that, for this year 2024, we expect to continue this positive trend. To do this, we hope to increase both the number of technical stops for military ships and even yachts.
